About Pilgrim Bowmen
Pilgrim Bowmen of Boston is a friendly and inclusive archery club based at the Mayflower Sports Ground, Rosebery Avenue, Boston, PE21 7QR. We meet every Tuesday and Friday evening from 18:30, with both indoor and outdoor facilities available depending on the season.
We welcome all shooting styles, including barebow, recurve and compound, and encourage archers of all ages and abilities to get involved. Whether you’re just starting out or returning to the sport, you’ll find a supportive community ready to help you enjoy and improve your archery.
After shooting, many of our members retire to the on-site licensed bar, making it a great opportunity to socialise and unwind. Toilet facilities are also available, ensuring comfort during your visit.
As part of our long-standing town twinning with Laval in France, we enjoy a unique exchange with their local archery club. Every other year, our archers travel to Laval to compete and stay with host families — and in return, we welcome French archers to Boston, offering hospitality, friendly competition, and a taste of local life.
Ready to get involved?
Whether you’re aiming for fun, fitness or competition, Pilgrim Bowmen of Boston is the perfect place to enjoy the sport of archery.
